Modi also praised farmers, calling them the backbone of India’s food ecosystem. He emphasised the importance of their role in preserving culinary traditions and pledged to support their work through innovative policies.
The Prime Minister said India is committed to setting global standards for innovation, sustainability, and safety in the food sector. The country will utilise modern technology in agriculture, create a robust administrative framework, and support the development of small enterprises.
