A delegation from Cuba’s Graduate School of Public Administration Training visited Changsha in China’s Hunan Province, where it participated in a seminar on public administration organised for Latin American countries. This is reported by

Representatives of the Cuban university signed a memorandum of understanding with local educational institutions. The agreement implies increased cooperation in training, academic exchanges and research.
On the Chinese side, the programme involves the School of Management and the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Hunan University, as well as a number of other universities that train specialists in the fields of transport, metallurgy and sustainable development.
The delegates also visited the educational institutions and got acquainted with the international exchange programmes, scientific and academic achievements of these institutions.
The two sides emphasised the importance of joint efforts to promote cooperation in education and strengthen ties between China and Cuba. According to the meeting, the new agreements will open up more opportunities in teaching and research.
