Jazan, a region known for its natural landscapes, especially in the mountainous areas, is becoming increasingly attractive for investment.
The mountainous areas of Al-Dayer Bani Malik, Al-Aridah, Al-Raith, Al-Eidabi, Fifa, and Haroub are renowned for their diverse agricultural produce, including coffee beans, maize, bananas, aloe, sandalwood, mountain honey and various tropical fruits. This agricultural abundance offers great prospects for agribusiness and food processing. This is reported by
Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
There is a growing interest in mountain tourism in Jazan, attracting adventure seekers such as hiking and rock climbing. The emergence of eco-friendly resorts and lodges is expected to further develop the tourism industry and open up additional investment opportunities.
The fertile conditions and favourable climate in these mountainous areas are particularly conducive to the cultivation of high-quality coffee beans. Given the growing demand for Saudi coffee both nationally and internationally, there is a promising market for potential investors in the coffee sector.
In support of these opportunities, the Saudi government is implementing projects under the Vision 2030 programme, actively promoting the development of the Jazan highlands.
