Pham Minh Chinh also said he had good impressions from his trip to Russia for the BRICS+ summit in October.
“This friendship is a major asset in our relations, forming a solid foundation that will help future generations further strengthen our ties and elevate them to new heights for the benefit of our two nations, and for the sake of regional and global peace, stability, and development”

For his part, Mishustin thanked his Vietnamese counterpart for the warm reception of the Russian delegation. According to him, Moscow and Hanoi are linked by strong ties of friendship and mutual respect.
“Vietnam is Russia’s major partner in Southeast Asia. […] We have made expanding trade and economic ties our priority. Mutual trade has been experiencing upward momentum, having increased by 24 per cent last year, which was attributable, among other things, to the effort to fulfil the free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Vietnam”
