Iran is poised to launch its first national artificial intelligence (AI) park in Tehran within the next two years, a strategic initiative designed to showcase the country’s technological prowess and deliver practical AI-related services to its citizens, according to Mojtaba Alizadeh, Assistant to the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.
This project aims to provide a platform for the demonstration of national technological advancements and will offer a diverse range of AI-driven services, including applications related to the Internet of Things (IoT) and demos of Iran’s national AI platform. This is reported by
Tehran Times, a partner of TV BRICS.
Currently, government entities, major corporations, and private companies are collaborating closely to develop the park.
Furthermore, Tehran is set to host an international conference on AI and the future of civilisation, which will bring together participants from more than 20 leading domestic universities and 30 top global universities and scientific centers.
