Nigeria launches Africa’s first university dedicated exclusively to artificial intelligence (AI). The university will be a cornerstone in fostering technological innovation and tackling unemployment in the region, as reported by
DNE Africa, a partner of TV BRICS.
The future AI university is scheduled to begin operations soon, offering specialised programmes in AI, quantum computing, machine learning, blockchain technology, and cloud computing.
Its curriculum is designed to empower young Nigerians with cutting-edge skills, fostering a workforce capable of driving technological transformation and contributing to Nigeria’s economic development.
Similarly, the university aims to create a thriving ecosystem for innovation, entrepreneurship, and technological advancement across Africa.
The institution is expected to tackle unemployment head-on by preparing its students for careers in high-growth, future-focused industries.
