President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko met with his Emirati counterpart Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his working visit to the UAE. This is reported by

“I’m very happy that we had a chance to meet,” said the UAE President, welcoming Lukashenko.
During the talks, the parties discussed the development of cooperation between Minsk and Abu Dhabi in trade and economic, investment, humanitarian and other areas of mutual interest. Lukashenko also invited Al Nahyan to pay a visit to Belarus.
In addition, he spoke about the meeting with UAE Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi. The issues of cooperation in the field of high technology and artificial intelligence (AI) were raised. According to the Belarusian President, the republic’s successes in IT technologies partly started in the UAE.
“The topic of my interest is artificial intelligence and its development. Exactly the development. […] It is important for us, as well as for the whole world. And I am very grateful to you that you have gladly agreed to share your knowledge and experience in the development of artificial intelligence by your ministry and the experience of those specialists who deal with this problem,” said the Belarusian leader.
In turn, the Emirati minister told Lukashenko about the current trends in AI and the means to advance in this field. He emphasised that in the next five years the UAE could become a leader in the introduction of this technology.
