The Sports Investment Forum (SIF), which will take place from 7-9 April 2025 in Saudi Arabia, will present strategic initiatives to develop the sports sector under Vision 2030. This is reported by
Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The focus will be on key aspects such as the development of sports infrastructure and the establishment of sports academies, which will form the basis for a sustainable and attractive sports ecosystem for investment.
The forum is organised with the support of the Ministries of Sport and Investment and will bring together senior executives and leaders from local and international companies to discuss the future of sports investment and innovative solutions.
Chief Executive Officer of SIF Ibrahim Al-Bakri emphasised that the forum aims to develop sports infrastructure and support clubs and academies, in line with Saudi Arabia’s commitment to creating an integrated sports environment to develop talent and strengthen the sports economy.
Al-Bakri also noted that the forum will help attract investment and seek new opportunities for cooperation between the public and private sectors, which will strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as a global sports centre. He expressed pride in the Kingdom’s successful bid to host the FIFA World Cup 2034, emphasising the countries important role in the international sports arena.
