China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) has unveiled for the first time the external design of a spacesuit for the moon landing. This is reported by
China Daily, a partner of TV BRICS.

The white spacesuit with red stripes is inspired by the traditional art of the Chinese people. The red stripes on the spacesuit are reminiscent of the ribbons from the “flying apsaras” of Dunhuang art and the flames of a rocket launch.

The spacesuit is made of protective materials that will protect astronauts from extreme conditions on the moon, such as vacuum, extreme temperatures, radiation, and lunar dust.

It features a multifunctional control panel, cameras, flexible gloves, a panoramic helmet visor, and joints adapted for low gravity conditions.

In this spacesuit, astronauts will be able to walk, climb, operate a lunar rover, and perform scientific tasks on the lunar surface.

China plans to conduct its first manned mission to the Moon around 2030.

The mission requires the development of many advanced technologies, including a manned lunar landing module, a new crewed spacecraft, and, of course, a special spacesuit.
