The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) has chosen Ninh Binh province in northern Vietnam as the venue for its annual conference to be held from 17-20 January 2025.
The event, with the theme “Tourism for Tomorrow: Preserving the Planet”, will emphasise the area’s role as an emerging destination in global tourism, according to
Vietnam News Agency (VNA), a partner of TV BRICS.
TAFI President Ajay Prakash highlighted the boom in Indian tourism, which has reached record levels of domestic and international travel since the pandemic COVID-19.
Vietnamese Consul General in Mumbai Le Quang Bien noted the growing co-operation between Vietnam and India.
More than 400 Indian travel agents are expected to attend the conference. The meeting is also expected to strengthen the role of tourism as a key factor in bilateral relations between Vietnam and India.
